Messaging with permission
SMS Policy
Effective: 5 August 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Types of messages
Service messages
These may include account verification, password-security alerts, requested course-access information and important changes affecting an account. They are sent only when necessary to provide or protect the requested service.
Promotional messages
These may include new course announcements, learning events and occasional offers. They are optional and sent only after separate consent.
2. How consent is collected
The phone field is optional. When a phone number is provided, the registration form presents an unticked promotional-SMS checkbox with clear wording. We record the phone number, date, source and wording version associated with the choice. Creating an account or accessing available free courses does not require a phone number or promotional consent.
3. Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies according to account activity and the preferences selected. Mobile-network message or data charges may apply. Zentix does not control a network provider’s charges.
4. Opting out
You may withdraw promotional consent through profile settings, by following the instruction included in a message or by contacting support. Where supported by the messaging provider, replying STOP will submit an opt-out request. We may send one final confirmation of the change.
5. Getting help
Use the contact form or email support@zentixskills.com. Never send your password or verification code to someone claiming to provide support.
6. Number accuracy and reassignment
Provide a number you control and update it if it changes. Mobile numbers may be reassigned by networks. If you receive messages intended for a previous user, opt out or contact us so the record can be corrected.
7. Compliance
We aim to follow applicable consent, privacy and electronic-communications requirements, including Ghanaian rules on direct marketing and unsolicited electronic communications. Requirements may differ when messaging users in other countries.
