Your information matters
Privacy Policy
Effective: 8 August 2026 · Version 1.1
1. Who operates the platform
Zentix Skills Community is operated by Zentix Digital. References to “Zentix,” “we,” “our” or “us” mean the operator of zentixskills.com. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@zentixskills.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- A phone number is required for a new learning account. A name and email address are optional; an email helps with self-service password recovery.
- If you start with the join form, we temporarily store the number you entered, country, notice version and limited campaign attribution so you can continue the registration you requested.
- If you submit an approved Meta Instant Form, Meta may send us the fields you submitted, such as phone, name or email, together with the Page, form, campaign and ad identifiers needed to attribute the request.
- Your password is stored only as a secure hash. We cannot view the original password.
- We store profile details, course enrolments, completed lessons, quiz responses, learning progress, support messages and communication preferences you choose to provide.
Information collected automatically
- Internet Protocol address, browser or device information and security logs used to protect forms, accounts and the service.
- Session cookies required to keep you signed in, remember your theme and protect form submissions.
- Campaign parameters included in a link, such as source, medium, campaign and creative labels.
3. Why we use information
We use information to continue requested registration, create and protect accounts, deliver courses, remember progress, respond to support, measure genuine registration conversion, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations and improve platform reliability. We do not treat an ordinary site visit as permission to obtain or use a Facebook or WhatsApp number.
4. Registration leads and retention
An unfinished registration lead is a temporary record, not a completed account. Pending lead data is assigned a retention deadline of up to 30 days and is then anonymised by the privacy-maintenance process. When registration is completed, the account retains the information required to operate it; duplicate name, email, IP and browser details in the lead record are removed, while limited source, timing, conversion and consent evidence may be retained for security, attribution and compliance. Administrators can anonymise a pending lead sooner when appropriate.
5. SMS and marketing consent
A phone number needed for account registration is not, by itself, promotional consent. Promotional SMS requires a separate unticked choice on Zentix or an exact, clearly worded consent question on an approved lead form. We record the wording, version, source and date associated with an opt-in or withdrawal. You may use available free courses without accepting promotional messages and may withdraw consent through your profile, an effective provider opt-out or support.
6. Cookies and advertising measurement
We use essential cookies for sessions, security, theme preferences and form protection. This release can retain campaign parameters supplied in a landing-page link, but it does not include a Meta Pixel or other advertising cookie. If optional analytics or advertising technology is added later, we will provide the notices and controls required for the intended countries before activating it.
7. How information is shared
We may use carefully selected hosting, email, messaging, security, advertising-lead or technical providers to operate the platform. They may process information only for the relevant service and subject to appropriate safeguards. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users and the platform. We do not sell phone-number lists or export pending registration leads for unrelated marketing.
8. Security
We use password hashing, secure sessions, anti-forgery tokens, prepared database queries, role-based administration, webhook-signature checks, allowlisted Meta Page and form identifiers, restricted configuration files and audit records. No internet service is completely risk-free. Use a unique password, provide a number you control and never share verification codes.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and you may withdraw marketing consent. Ghanaian users also have rights under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). We may verify identity before completing a request. Contact privacy@zentixskills.com or use the contact form.
10. Children and young learners
Accounts are currently intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children or use a child’s phone number for promotional SMS. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
11. International access
Zentix can be accessed from multiple countries. Information may be processed where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to apply appropriate protections while recognising that privacy, marketing and data-transfer rules vary by country.
12. Changes
We may update this policy when the service, providers or applicable requirements change. A new effective date and version will appear above. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.
